This week, the end of October and beginning of November 2007, Israel has been stepping up their bombing of the Gaza area, over 50 different occurrences, in an effort to force the inhabitants of the area to leave. Mind you these are not soldiers being attacked, these are residents = families = husbands, wives, children.
Rockets launched "successfully" by Israel obliterated the village of Hebron, killing more than 15 in several attacks, and injuring more than 30. These numbers include the disabled, women, children, a journalist, and a human rights worker. More than 79 people have been kidnapped by Israeli troops, which includes 6 children and 2 women. School children on their way to school have been fired upon by Israeli troops.
The Israeli government continues to promote the illegal settlement of Palestinian lands and encourages Israeli citizens to attack the residents already residing there. Attacks on Palestinian residents occur regularly with stones and bottles as weapons.
As Israel moves into Palestine it has declared that Palestinian homes were built illegally and without license and then proceeds to bulldoze their residences forcing the residents to flee. Needless to say they are then homeless.
Since the Gaza has been declared an "enemy entity" in September, Israel has been ensuring that goods and services, to include medicine, do not reach the needs of the people of Gaza. Prices have risen more than 500% making it extremely difficult for the people to survive day-to-day.
Israel is also in the process of building a wall - the annexation or apartheid wall - through the West Bank. This wall is illegal and against international law. Palestinians have been peacefully protesting the wall but Israeli troops respond to them with violence by shooting them with rubber-coated metal bullets or lobbing tear gas or sound bombs into the crowd.
These are criminal acts by a criminal government. It's horrific, inhuman and, plain and simple, a direct violation of basic human rights. The Palestinian people DO NOT deserve this type of treatment.
For Americans this should be a chilling, telling story of what could be expected of your own government. Yes, really.
Consider: The U.S. fully supports Israel in their demonic, criminal ways. George W. Bush has already gone down the path of eliminating the American citizens' basic rights to a fair trial and removed protection rights under the Geneva Convention.
The U.S. government can certainly decide that certain groups, within the U.S., are no longer recognizable as U.S. (or NAU) citizens and can declare "war" on those groups - let's call them "unclean" groups to easily differentiate.
The U.S. or NAU can also decide that those areas that those unclean groups live in are best suited for other groups of people so it will clean out the unclean areas. It will either kill or drive the unclean people to a chosen location.
You think that is too far-fetched? Then you wait and see.
You are mentally being prepped for these things now. I'd venture to say that most people believe that the Palestinian people deserve what they are getting so therefore they support these actions; some people don't understand the whole situation so are hesitant to state or form an opinion; and only a few really understand and grasp what is going on... Am I right?
Also, there is great hesitancy to discuss the issue at ALL in our news. Why? Because Israel is our ally, our buddy, our pal, our cohort in crime and punishments, and the U.S. has its' hands deep into Israel's pockets and vice versa.
It's just a matter of time now...
Welcome to the New World Order.
